Earth School for Souls

Consider for a moment that you may be more than you know, and that you exist as a very powerful Soul with unimaginable abilities. And you chose life on Earth to experience what could not be experienced anywhere else.

For a Soul, Earth is one of the most challenging environments in which to experience itself because of the extraordinary degree of limitation and contrast. And that provides an opportunity for a very high level of experiential growth. Only Souls that have reached high levels of growth are prepared for the Earth School opportunity to transform limitation and contraction into freedom and expansion, and to transmute darkness into light on the scale Earth has to offer.

Souls who choose to experience Earth are not beginners. They are more like master’s and PhD students, participating in a master graduating class through the transformative experience of physical reality on Earth.

Souls have natural access to Infinite Intelligence and infinite knowledge because time works very differently than it does here on Earth. For the Soul, everything is literally here and now, and time is not expressed through clocks, calendars, and seasons. Time is expressed more through the timing of how things happen. So, timing may be the best representation of "when" things happen from the Soul’s perspective.

You might ask yourself, if the Soul is all-knowing, then why experience Earth? For exactly that reason: the experience of the process of change.

Knowledge and experiencing are completely different things. Experience allows Souls to explore, learn, and grow through the creative process of change, with your experience of physical life becoming a part of the Soul that you are.

And Earth offers something unique: the opportunity to experience limitation, individuality, choice, relationships, challenge, emotion, transformation, and change through physical form, all while temporarily forgetting how powerful you actually are. From the Soul’s perspective, these experiences are not necessarily obstacles to avoid. They are among the very reasons for coming here.

Once the Soul decides to experience Earth, it creates a general blueprint of experiential themes to explore along the road of life. Then the Soul expresses a portion of its consciousness into physical reality as a human being. There is a very important part of this process, that allows the Earth experience to be truly new and transformational: The portion of the Soul, born as You, forgets that You are a Soul.

For many of us, the forgetting has happened gradually over approximately the first six to eight years of our lives as we become immersed in our families, cultures, beliefs, relationships, and challenges. However, not everyone forgets in the same way. Some children, especially those born in more recent generations, may remember more of who they truly are as Souls, carrying that awareness with them as they grow and experience life.

As we grow into adults, we face life with the experiences, beliefs, and tools we developed during our early years. Along the way, we develop desires, experience successes and losses, form connections, encounter limitations, and discover opportunities for growth. It is all a part of the human experience.

Although the Soul Blueprint may contain certain chosen themes and experiences, we continue to navigate those experiences through free will and choice. And no matter what we choose, we remain unconditionally loved and supported, even when we have forgotten that we are.

And somewhere within the experience, we may begin to feel a familiar pull toward something we cannot quite identify, a connection, a deeper understanding, or perhaps simply answers to the questions that begin to emerge. Who am I? Why am I here? Why have I experienced the things I’ve experienced? Is there something more to life than what I can see?

Those questions can become the beginning of Re-Membering our connection with the greater Soul that we are.

Earth School is one of the eternal, ongoing opportunities for the Soul to discover itself through experience and eventually begin recognizing itself from within the very reality in which it chose to forget. And even if that recognition does not occur during the chosen experience, the experience gained simply by living it is of immeasurable value to the Soul.
